Stone Ridge Christian High School admits students of any sex, color, racial, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges programs and activities made available to students at the school. Stone Ridge Christian High School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, color, racial, or ethnic origin in the administration of its education policies, admission policies, tuition assistance, or athletic and other school-administered programs.
Secondary students must agree to follow their parents’ wishes to come to school and agree to abide by the rules willingly to be accepted at Stone Ridge Christian High School. To be enrolled at Stone Ridge Christian High School, a student must be living in the home of a parent or a legal guardian who is at least 25 years old.
Academic Criteria
• Students shall have scored at least 30 percentile on a standardized test in reading comprehension and math computation to be accepted without restrictions.
• Students shall have an accumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater to be accepted without restriction.
• The administration may accept a student on academic probation or in the “basic” program if the student does not meet the academic standards listed above.
Behavioral Criteria
• Students with no serious discipline situations within the last two years may be accepted without restriction.
• Students who are repentant for misbehavior in a previous school, which led to supervision or expulsion within the last two years, may be accepted on behavior probation at the discretion of the administration Students who are rebellious or are involved in immoral or illegal activities including using pornography, smoking, drinking alcohol taking illicit drugs, stealing, gang activity, or using weapons at school are not eligible for admission to Stone Ridge Christian High School
Spiritual Criteria
• Students who are active, growing Christians who fully agree with the school’s Statement of Faith will be actively recruited and given preference in admission to the school.
• Students who have at least one parent who is an active, growing Christian and fully agrees with the school’s Statement of Faith will be actively recruited and given preference in admission above others, except those students described in the paragraph above.
• Students who themselves are involved or whose parents are involved in a cult that claims to be Christian but allows, presents, or encourages belief in revealed truth other than in the Bible will be denied admission.
• Secondary students who themselves desire and/or whose parent desire for them to have a Christian education and who appear to be open to the Word of God found in the Bible may be accepted to Stone Ridge Christian High School.
• Administration will determine if a student meets the spiritual criteria at a student interview prior to acceptance.
• All new students will be admitted on a 45 day probationary period.
• All student acceptance will be at the discretion of the administration.

In accord with the requirement set forth in IRB No. 1975-49, dated December 8, 1975, Stone Ridge Christian High School therefore announces the following policy:

educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic or other school administered programs.
The school wishes to further advise that concurrence with the Policy of Non-Discrimination is not grounded in humanist premises, but rather upon a theological basis as presented in the Bible, which is the Word of God. Its doors are open to people of all races and national origins because the love of God, as manifest in the ministry of redemption through Jesus Christ and is intended for all people who will receive it.
To this end, Stone Ridge Christian High School is committed to serve Christian families of the city of Merced and its surrounding area.
